PCSO Ken Cooney is based at the Merry Bells hall at Wheatley police station.  PCSO Cooney patrols on foot Church Road and by car patrol on New Inn Road and Woodperry Road once a week (see schedule below). Hillary Green, Community Safety Office keeps records of the comings and going of the PCSO.  PCSO Cooney also likes to make an appearance in the Abingdon Arms Public House to make himself known to the villagers and if they want to bring anything to his attention.  As of the 1st of November 2007 All Category C crimes will be attended if there is a reason for not attending there will be a phone call as to what the reason is for not turning up.
