Beckley Open Afternoon 15th June 2 - 6 pm

Beckley’s biennial Open Afternoon in aid of churchfunds will be held Sunday 15 June.

The afternoon will include fourteen open Gardens,Exhibition of work by local artists in the Church, and Stalls including Plants and Produce, Books, Bric-a-brac, Cakes and Bottles, and Ice Cream. There will be Teas at the School, Strawberries at Cripps Cottage and RSPB display tent on the School Playground

Tickets are available on the day of the event at three locations: adjacent to public parking at corner of New Inn and Common Roads; on the corner of Church Street and High Street; on the corner of Otmoor Lane and High Street. Tickets are £4 adults,age 15 and under free. Contributions to the stalls,and cakes, etc., for the teas are most welcome, as arepersons willing to donate time at the various sites.

Plants and Produce – Julie Ross, Prospect Cottage,Church Street 351 330. Donations on the 14th or preferably morning of the 15th.

Cakes and Bottles – Elizabeth Gemmill, 1 ChurchStreet 351 324. Bottles on 14th, cakes sale morning..

Books – Ann and Geoff Henman, Otmoor Cottage,Church Street 351 492. Donations week preceding.

Bric-a-brac – Walled Garden, High Street duringweek before sale. If main gate not open, use footgate. Mary and Michael Learoyd 351 760

Cakes, etc. for Teas – School hall any time after 1pm on 15 June or deliver to Dorrie Gethings,Cornerways, Horton Road or Gina Robson, St.Mary’s Cottage on morning of sale.
