Welcome to the new Beckley website
Our website is designed to help keep villagers informed of local activities, ex villagers in touch with their old village, visitors informed of local services and help new arrivals get to know our community quickly.
Having designed a new website it now needs to be filled with content and a lot of that content needs to come from the villagers themselves. There are clubs, walks, eateries, places to visit that I am sure your friends would like to know about. These can all be added in some way to the website.
There is a plan to have a blog up and running soon which will allow visitors to the site to offfer opinion, advice or feedback of any sort.
In the meantime the new website is an ever evolving animal which can grow into a fun and useful community pin board. If you think there is information that could be useful to our visitors please email Gary Chalmers at gary.r.chalmers@btinternet.com.
I would like to add a lot more pictures of the village to the website. If you think you have a great pic that would look good then please send it to me
There is still quite a lot of work to do so if you hit a blank page don't worry it should be complete in the near future.
